There's always been good black movies they just get overshadowed by the bile made by half-wit rappers turned "actors" or by yawn inspiring comedians who think making fun of white people and adding a crappy rap soundtrack (which usually sells better than the movie) will pack theaters. Tyler Perry can make a good flim cause he doesn't pander to the cRAP community and lower the intelligence of his movies. Middle-class Black America will accept these movies better cause they can see themselves in the movie. T.I. JAILED HOURS BEFORE FOR HHA

T.I., here performing at the BET Awards in June, was arrested Oct. 13 in possession of unregistered machine guns, hours before he was to appear at the Hip-Hop Awards. He won two awards in absentia.

Despite rapper T.I. 's absence, the show went on at the second-annual BET Hip-Hop Awards - even when he was scheduled to perform. The self-proclaimed "King of the South," who was up for nine nominations, won two awards. But he couldn't accept any trophies or make the planned performance after being arrested by federal authorities early Saturday.

I'm glad T.I got caught, because he thinks he's a king. A king shouldn't need guns to be popular. He needs some time to calm down and realize he is a parent. Is this what he wants his sons to grow and do? I guess he will leave Lil Flip alone too, after this arrest.
